An Instagram post I read today announcing chef Jude Kereama, of Kota Restaurant and Kota Kai will be presenting the amazing Porthleven Food Festival in April, reminded me how fabulous the food scene really is in Cornwall these days.

Cornwall arguably has some of the best seafood & locally reared meats in the UK, plus a vast vegetarian & burgeoning vegan scene. The huge number of seriously talented, experienced chefs who have chosen to base themselves in Cornwall these days, is also truly astounding. They know where it’s happening!

The Michelin Guide includes 48 Cornish restaurants –
3 have a much coveted Michelin Star
2 have a Michelin Green Star
4 are Bib Gourmand accredited
39 are Recommended

Square Meal recently published their Top 100 UK Restaurants list, 3 of which are in Cornwall.

The Harden’s Guide features no less than 20 restaurants in Cornwall.
